Hugh Conroy

Hugh Conroy, 72, passed away peacefully at home July 26, 2024 surrounded by his family. Born in Akron, Ohio to George, Sr. and Claire (Stace) Conroy, he was a lifelong area resident. Hugh enjoyed classic cars, motorcycles, fishing, gardening, cookouts, drinking his beer, taking road trips to Woodsfield & Longbottom, Ohio and spending time with his family and friends.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of almost 50 years, Carolyn; children, Steven Conroy, Crystal (Joe) Gall; granddaughter, Aaliyah; many friends.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of Hugh's life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Hugh's name to the American Cancer Society.
