Homer Setser, 72, of Tomahawk, Kentucky, passed away Sept. 13, 2009 after a brief illness. Homer was retired from the Norton Company after 42 years of service. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Keith Atkinson; and good friend, Phyllis Ward. He is survived by his daughters, Wanda Atkinson, Geraldine Albrecht, and Tina Setser; son, Homer L. Setser; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 18, from noon to 2 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will follow immediately at 2 p.m. with Pastor Kim Lawrence officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
