Homer Lee Crites

Homer Lee Crites, 56, of Akron, passed away April 22, 2013. He was born July 15, 1956 in Akron, Ohio, the son of Janet (Petty) Collins. Homer enjoyed attending dances, roller skating and traveling to many destinations including Bahamas and Nashville. He was preceded in death by his mother; sister, Emma Dray and brother, Robert Collins.

Homer is survived by his brothers, Gene (Terry) Collins of Uniontown, OH and Rick (Geri) Collins of Akron, OH; sister, Faye Garrettson of New Jersey; brother-in-law, Glenn Dray of Akron, OH; special friend, Jen; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Akron, Ohio 44305 officiated by Rev. Nan Morgan. Friends may call 2 hours prior to service, 5-7 PM, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to The Ardmore Foundation, 981 E Market St, Akron, Ohio 44305.
