Hester E. Santrock

Hester E. Santrock, 95, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025. Born in Hometown, WV to Brady and Emma (Shamblin) Hedrick, she had resided in the Akron, OH area since 1968. Hester enjoyed being outdoors, quilting, trips to Myrtle Beach and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Hester was preceded in death by her husband, James Santrock; son, Ted Santrock; 6 siblings. She will be sadly missed by her children, Judith Ross, James "Jimmy" Santrock; grandchildren,, Jason, Daryl, Julie Ann; several nieces and nephews.

Per Hester's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal services. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Hester's name to the charity of their choice.
