Herbert Y. Musch, 85, was received into the Lord's loving arms on November 10, 2013. He was born October 24, 1928 to the late John and Katherine Musch. Herbert was a graduate of Kenmore High School and served honorably aboard the Destroyer USS Damato in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He worked for the DPW Paint and Wallpaper Company, Goodyear Tire Service Store and Revco Security.
Herbert is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Donna Shirley (Streich), sons Herbert (Debra) Musch and Robert (Theresa) Musch, daughter Susan (Brian) Johnson, brother John Musch, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Dorothy McQuain and his daughter-in-law Billie Jean Musch. We would especially like to thank the nurses on 5 East at Akron City Hospital for their warm and loving care. We would also like to thank Dr. Ken Berkovitz for his support and compassion through this difficult time.
Friends may call 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the Tallmadge Lutheran Church, 759 East Ave, Tallmadge, OH, where a memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., immediately following visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
