Helen Vaughn, 90, passed away on February 21, 2011. Helen retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Preceded in death by her husband, Howard; son, Bobby. Survivors include daughters, Janet Wingard, Phyllis Grant, and Carol (Robert) Harp; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service.
