Helen R. Malson, 81, joined her family on February 12, 2014.
Helen retired from the Diamond Towel Supply after 45 years of service. She was a member of Lakemore Methodist Church. She enjoyed taking pictures, keeping up with family history, the smell of the water at Springfield Lake.
Preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Elva; sisters, Faye, Wilma, and Lois; brother, Bryon. She leaves behind her beloved cat, Tiger.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. Family and friends may gather one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
