Helen L. Abbott

Helen L. Abbott, age 81, resident of Tallmadge, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. She was born on February 15, 1931. Helen was a very loving mother and terrific homemaker who cherished the time she spent with her family. She formerly worked for the Acme Company for over 10 years.

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Abbott, Sr; parents, Andrew and Nellie Matyzik; son-in-law, Rodney Stone; sister-in-law, Linda Abbott. Survived by her daughter, Linda Stone; sons, Robert (Pamela), Jr., Andrew "Mike"(Laura), James (Terri),Daniel (Kim Oman), Jack (Vickie) and William (Lynda); 18 grandchildren; many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 21, 2013 at the funeral home. Final resting place will be at Tallmadge Cemetery.
