Helen Cruise Gardner Garlando, 89, passed away on March 14, 2013.
Preceded in death by her husband, Edward Leslie Gardner; sons, Stanley Earl Gardner and Edward Leslie Gardner, Jr.; 1 great-grandchild, Edward Leslie Gardner, III; sister, Evelyn Reger; and brother, Charles Cruise.
Survivors include daughters, Vicki Dolbeare and Connie Fretz; sons, David (Debbie) Gardner, Sr., Daniel (Julie) Gardner, and Mark (Angela) Gardner; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Tuesday, 4-7 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
