Hazel A. Pumphrey, 88, passed away on May 26, 2008. She was born on January 10, 1920 in Ripley, WV. Hazel was a member of Green Baptist Church. She retired from the Connie Shop after 20 years of service and enjoyed quilting, canning and puzzles. Preceded in death by her parents; her husband George; son Ronald; and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include sons Richard, Gerald (Jo Ann), and David; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Dora Pumphrey. Calling hours will be Monday, June 2, 2008, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., with a funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment at Greensburg Cemetery.
