Harry W. "Doug" Douglas, 67, of Akron, passed away November 24, 2012. He was born in Akron on January 9, 1945 to the late Russell Douglas and Marjorie (Morris) Haup.
He was preceded in death by his parents; aunt, Hannah "Judy" Matlock; brother, Russell Douglas, Jr. Doug is survived by his loving wife, Edith (nee Wright), of 24 years; brother, Charles (Rosemary) Douglas of The Villages, FL; 1 nephew; 6 nieces; 1 great niece; and 6 great nephews.
Family and friends may call on Friday, November 30, 2012, from 4-6 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, where a memorial service will be held, following visitation, at 6:00 PM with Rev. Dave Shew officiating.
