On July 30, 2025, Harry Austin Tressel was called to his Heavenly home after three years of rehab and care following complications of hip fractures.
He was born to parents, Harry and Beulah (Miller) Tressel on July 30, 1937 in Akron, Ohio.
Harry had a wonderful family with his parents and siblings, Robert Alan and Marilyn.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his son, Mark as well as his dog, Bailey.
Harry was extremely talented with sports, especially softball and bowling. He sung in the Dick Neuman Quartet for over 23 years alongside Dick, David and Terry, something he truly had a passion for. He also enjoyed spending time fishing and being outdoors. He could do anything due to his strength that he gained moving thousands of houses over the years.
Harry's memory will be cherished by his beloved wife of 35 years, Monnie; children, Tammy and Shelly; step-son, Eddie; step-daughter, Cheryl; former son-in-law, Blaine; grandchildren, Kristy, Brandon, Jeffrey, Terry, Adam, Jordan, Austin, Olivia, Jenny and Kerry; great-grandchildren, Emma, Abby, Jenna Rose, Trenton and Luke; sister, Marilyn; sister-in-law, Pat; nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Rebecca, Pam, Susan, Bobby and Steve; cousin, Harold; special friend, Ed (Nancy); and dog, Buster.
Monnie was truly devoted to him. She was his caretaker, sweetheart and friend... she would do it over and over again.
Harry was truly one of a kind. His recipe for life was to be honest, forgiving and most importantly, loving. Everyone was important to Harry, no matter their situation. He will deeply missed.
