Harold W. Holcomb, 69, passed away December 15, 2010 with his wife and son at his side. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Aileson; children, Harold (Veronica) Holcomb and Marlene (Rick) Carpenter; grandchildren, Joe, Jim, and John Holcomb, and Misty and Ashley Carpenter; mother, Louise Holcomb; brothers, Bob, Leon, Asa, Donald, and Randall Holcomb; and sister, Irene Calldwell. Calling hours will be held Sunday, December 19, from 2 to 4 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a service will follow at 4 pm with Rev. Fleary Spurlock officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
