Harold R. Shaw, 61, of Rootstown, passed away on July 11, 2015. Harold was born in Meadeville, Pennsylvania on August 30, 1953 to the late Harold and Irene Shaw. He was employed at Fallsway Equipment Company and owned Shaw's Automotive in downtown Akron. In his free time, Harold could often be found at the track where he drag raced motorcycles and cars. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother and grandfather and will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Yvonne; children, Brian (Lindsay) Smith, Nicholas Shaw, and Nicholas Pallante; brother, David Shaw; and grandchildren, Savannah Pallante and Lincoln Smith.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
