Harold Dean Starcher

Harold Dean Starcher, 54, of Akron, known to his friends as "Dean" or "Bubba", passed away on April 24, 2025. Dean was born August 18, 1970 in Akron, Ohio to the late Harold Junior Lawson and Emogene Starcher {Crihfield}.

Dean spent his career as an auto mechanic. He made many friends throughout his life and enjoyed hanging out and having a good time. His dog Harry was his best buddy.

In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by his brothers, William Starcher and Jeffrey Starcher; and sister, Gina Hunt.

Dean will be deeply missed by his son, Tyler; sister-in-law, Kathy Starcher; nieces and nephews, Michelle, Jeffrey, Heather, Ashley, Paige, Kayla, Lily, and Kaiden; and many great-nieces, and great-nephews. He also leaves great friends, Chet and Betty Simons, Don Bush, and Susan K.

A celebration of Dean's life will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 4:00 pm at Akron Bible Church, 783 Brown St, Akron, Ohio 44311.
