Harold Keith "Jack" Albright

Harold Keith "Jack" Albright, 95, of Stow, joined his wife Jean in Heaven on Thursday, September 24, 2026, after a peaceful passing at his home, surrounded by family. 

Jack was preceded in death by his beloved wife Jean Albright, his parents Bernice and Arthur Albright, brothers Richard Albright and Donald Albright. 

Jack's memory will always be cherished by his daughters Cheryl (Jeff) White and Theresa Albright; son Daniel (Maggi) Albright; grandchildren Heather (Jeff) Brown, Shannon Kerstetter, Jesse Fox and Josh (Brittany) White; great-grandchildren Katie Fox, Alex Kerstetter, Adam Brown, Deacon Fox, Layna White, Nicolas Brown, Maryn White.

The family wishes to thank Summa Hospice, Touching Hearts Home Care, caregivers Deandra, Rasheeda, Luci, and especially his great-granddaughter Katie for their loving and special care of Jack in his final month. 

Jack was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, serving during the Korean War, followed by a long career as an electrician. He and Jean were longtime members of St. Eugene Catholic Church. Jack's world revolved around his faith and his family, and though he was fiercely independent and could be a bit stubborn, his love for Jean and the family they created together were paramount. 

Jack also owned three planes, building a plane from scratch and flying it at the age of 80. He never missed his children or grandchildren's games, recitals or other milestone event, and was an avid Steelers fan. Jack was loved by so many, and will be deeply missed.

Family and friends are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Friday, October 2nd from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 on Saturday, October 3rd at 10:00 a.m. with Father Peter Colletti officiating. A graveside service with well-deserved military honors will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, where Jack will be laid to rest with Jean.
