Harold Abbuhl

Harold E. Abbuhl, 87, passed away in his home on September 18, 2016. He was born in Dennison, OH on April 3, 1929 to the late Roy and Matilda Abbuhl. Harold was employed by Lucas Aerospace in Aurora. He enjoyed talking on the CB, roller skating, welding, and visiting his son Robert at the campsite. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting rabbits.

Harold was preceded in death by his son, Steven Abbuhl; brothers, Donald, Kenneth and Dale Abbuhl. He is survived by his children, Lisa Allman, James Abbuhl, Debra (Lowell) Stover, Robert Abbuhl and Nancy (Fritz) Meister; grandchildren, Michael, Morgan, Taylor, Hannah, Andrew, Ashley, Emily and David; two great-grandchildren, Carter and Jax; sister, Barbara Wengerd; brothers, Doyle, Loren, Richard and David Abbuhl; and many other nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 6-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 1pm.
