Gwynn S. Hicks Jr.

Gwynn S. Hicks Jr., affectionately known as "Sonny", left this world on July 29, 2024, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him. He was born on December 30, 1954 the son of the late Gwynn and Gladys Hicks Sr. 

Sonny loved music and playing his guitar with his sons. 

Beyond his musical pursuits, Sonny found fulfillment in being a member of the Army Navy Garrison #250, where he enjoyed the entertainment and valued his friendships deeply.

In addition to his hobbies and accomplishments, Sonny will be remembered for his warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering loyalty to those he held dear. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his beloved sons Gwynn Hicks and Kevin Hicks, whom he carried this heavy loss on his heart daily. We are sure he is smiling, being reunited with his boys and riding together once again. 

Sonny is survived by his loving partner of 22 years, Debbie Gironda; her daughter Marisa (Joe) Wilt their children Sloane and Vincent; her son Vito (Payton) Gironda.

Brother Scott (Dorothy) Hicks; his children Sarah (Kristian) Kastelic, Mary (Kelly) Hicks and son Carson, Aaron (Martha) Hicks their children Victoria and Alexander, and Paul (Mindy) Hicks and their children Maya and Ben.

Sister Vanessa Wengren and her daughter Alexandra; grandchildren Michael, Dyson, Gavin, Kaytlyn, Jerzi, and Ethyn.

Best buddy his four legged companion Bruno; and many other family and friends.
