G. Wes Wolfe

G. Wes Wolfe, 86, of Akron, passed away on October 16, 2026. He was born on September 6, 1940 to the late Guerdon S. Wolfe and Edna {Evans} Perry.

In addition to his parents, Wes was preceded in death by his daughter Lisa, and beloved dogs Willy, Emmie and Charlie.

Wes is survived by his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Margaret; daughter Laurie Garner; grandchildren Josh and Wes Thompson, Mason and Jordan Garner.

Wes was a rightfully proud veteran of the United States Navy. He had a long career first as a dispatcher for a trucking company, and then set to the road himself in his own truck before retiring.

Wes was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend and neighbor. He had a way of connecting with people without saying much, claiming a small piece of their heart in the process. Wes is loved dearly by the people that had the chance to know him, and will be incredibly missed.
