Gloria Jean Lowe

Gloria Jean Lowe, 80, of Akron, passed away on November 25, 2025. She was born on September 1, 1945 to the late Earl and Rita {Horning} Withrow.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved husband Arlie Patrick "Pat" Lowe in 2003 and her brother Ron (Judy) Withrow.

Gloria is survived by her loving son, Michael (Marian) Lowe; grandchildren Kristyne (Danny), Erica (Ryan), Stephanie (Anthony), Aubrey (Logan), Kesa (Jackson) and Michael (Peyton); great-grandchildren Zoey, Nora, Noah, Evan, Eliza, Nina and Spencer; brothers Larry (Pam) and Will (Sandy) Withrow; many nieces and nephews.

Gloria enjoyed lunches out with her childhood friend Carol and friends from church. She could often be found outside tending to her garden, bowling or playing cards at the senior center.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Wednesday, December 3rd from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service that begins at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Robert Tauscher officiating. A committal will follow the service at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, where Gloria will be laid to rest with her husband, Pat.
