Gloria “Glo-Glo” Ball

1948 – 2026

She was a one of kind force of nature who lived completely on her own terms.

Born in Akron, she enjoyed fashion and frequent shopping trips to NYC during her early years followed by a love for casinos, scratch off tickets, and having drinks with friends in her driveway on those sunny days.

She’ll be remembered for her quick wit, raunchy comments, huge heart, and bringing people together with everlasting bonds.

Gloria is survived by and deeply missed by her son, Mikey (Erika); sister-in-law, Nancy; and niece and nephews, Mark, Matt (Barb) and Rachel.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Ron.

Mikey extends his deepest gratitude to her wonderful circle of friends, Rita, Patty, Karen, Ernie, Barb, Rebecca, Marilyn, MJ, Tim, Jan, Debbie and Eric who prepped meals, delivered care and stood by her side during difficult times.

Special thanks to Heartland Hospice - Sarah, Rebecca, Terry, Frank, Chad and Alisa for their committed compassion.

In lieu of flowers do something she would have loved, like blow your money at the casino.

A Celebration of Gloria’s life will take place on Thursday October 8, 2026 from 4pm until 7pm at Sammie’s Bar & Grille 498 South Ave, Tallmadge, OH 44278.
