Jesus came for Glenna Kay {Wilson} Franklin on December 16, 2025. He stopped by Macy's first, as she requested something nice to wear before she left with him.
Glenna was born in Madison County, NC. She graduated from Business college at the age of 19, got married and moved to Ohio where she lived until her death. Glenna retired from Roadway Express headquarters as an Executive Administrative Assistant after 33 years of service. She then worked for Windstream for approximately 8 years before ultimately retiring for good.
Predeceased by beloved Grandma Elizabeth, parents Carl and Stella Wilson, favorite aunt & uncle Madge and Jim, best friends Martha & Betty, and great-granddaughter Amelia.
Glenna leaves to mourn her passing, husband of 63 years, who she lovingly referred to as her "boy toy", Willie Jay Franklin; son Steven; daughter Kathryn (John); grandchildren Dakota, Dustin, Cameron, Kaitlyn, Isabella & Lisa; faithful grand-dogs Penelope & Carly.
Glenna loved clothes shopping, fashion & jewelry. She wants people to know she loved her family and looked forward to being reunited with the many family members and friends waiting for her in heaven.
Special thanks to Taunia, Lori & Debbie from Hospice for their assistance in keeping Glenna home until she died.
