Gladys V. "Jo" Thorn (nee Robinson), 73, of Akron, passed away peacefully June 25, 2014. She was born in Akron, Ohio on October 19, 1940 to the late Lee and Katharine Robinson. Gladys served our country in the US Navy.
Our mom was an amazing woman who touched everyone she knew and met. Known to many as 'Aunt Jo' or 'Grandma Jo.' "She is a beautiful angel who will be alive in the hearts and memories of the people who were fortunate enough to have known her."

She is survived by "Jo's Girls"; Kathleen Sullivan, Crystal (Donnie) Spears, Pat Domany, and Karen Szalay, 7 Grandsons; Robbie, Justin, Kyle and Logan Domany, Alex and Matt Szalay, and Isaak Spears, Sisters, Dolly Lamb and Mary Brooks, 'Lil Bro', Tom (Sharon) Robinson, and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
