Gina Darlene (Fisher) Blevins
Gina Darlene Blevins, 58, of Akron, passed away December 21, 2014. She was born on August 2, 1956 in Covington, KY. Gina retired from Akron City Hospital. She devoted herself to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed dancing and family gatherings.
Gina was preceded in death by her father, Emmitte Fisher and brother, David Fisher. She will be deeply missed by her children, Franklin J. Roberts and Kelly Roberts (Michael Olson); mother, Imogene Fisher; siblings, Cherylene (Jack) Cottrill, Gerald (Sandra) Fisher, Michael (Aleta) Fisher, Tanya (Jack) Oakes, Kimberley (Larry) Prince, Valarie Taylor, and Shanna "Mickey" (Herm) Ferrell; grandchildren, Lorenzo Sherman II, Jacobie Peel, and Malachi Peel; many nieces and nephews. Gina also leaves her best friends, Mary and Don Burkett.
Family and friends may call on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
