Gilda C. Payne, 67, of Akron, passed away August 22, 2014. She was born November 9, 1946 in Hazard, Kentucky to Albert and Thelma Payne. Gilda will be dearly missed by her Children; Monica, Michael, Marlow (Dedra), Sr., and Maurice, Mother, Thelma Payne, Sister, Emma Blackmon, 10 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, along with many beloved family members and friends. A Home-Going Service will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Arlington Church of God, 539 S. Arlington St. in Akron at 2:00 pm with calling hours 1-2 pm at the church.
