Geraldine L. "Freida" Smith, 85, passed away on December 29, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas L. Smith on July 17, 2004. Survivors include sons Ed (Eileen) Murray and Bill (Alice) Murray, both of Florida; sister Dorothy Gilliliand of Lawrenceburg, KY; 2 granddaughters; 1 great-grandson; 2 stepdaughters; and 2 stepsons. Calling hours will be Wednesday, January 4, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N.
