Gerald "Jerry" O. Auvil, 81, of Uniontown, formerly of Romulus, MI, passed away on August 1, 2018. Jerry was born in Akron, OH on February 1, 1937 to the late Okey and Ruth Auvil. He graduated from Akron North High School, and served in the US Navy and later in the Airforce. Jerry spent most of his life living in Romulus, Michigan, where he worked as a research technician for the Ford Motor Company.
Jerry is survived by his son, Todd (Jolene) Auvil and brother, Glenn Auvil Sr.
Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter, Peggy Guffy.
Per Jerry's request, cremation has taken place. Services will be privately held.
