Georgia Brenda Gage, 54, passed away June 17, 2009. She was a lover of horses and dogs. Preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Mary Jane Meade; and sisters, Emma and Betty Sue. Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Tony, of 27 years; sisters, Anna and Wanda; brothers, Paul and Bobby; 3 step-children; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, June 21, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Karen Gage officiating.
