George Wood III, 53, passed away on November 22, 2019 after a two-year battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary Lorkowski, and father, George Wood Jr. George is survived by his wife, Kimberly White; daughter, Kathryn (Kevin) Davis; his pride and joy, granddaughter, Payton Davis; brother, Thomas Wood; sister, Andrea Wood; and step-father, Ken Lorkowski. A memorial visitation will be held from 6-9pm on Wednesday, December 4 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
