George Joseph Reed, Sr.

George Reed Sr, 56 of Akron passed away December 26th 2023. After a beautiful Christmas celebration at home with family and friends. He was born on November 15th 1967 in North Adams Massachusetts to Anna Mae Creps and Adam Creps Sr.
In addition to his parents George was preceded in death by sister Roxanne.
George is survived by his son George Reed Jr, son Josh Reed, and daughter Samantha James and their mother Kimberly (Kenny) Ames. He was Papa George to two special girls Tinka and Buggie. He is survived by his sister Candace Stover and family, sister Wendy Lawton and family, sister Lynn Smith and family, brother Adam Creps Jr and family, and brother James (Amanda) Holmquest and family as well as stepmother Sandra Creps. His best friend Kelly Auberry, close friend Nancy Elsworth and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
As a child George was tenacious, and determined to do anything and everything that he could regardless of his many surgeries and a full lower body cast. As an adult he carried that determination into his love of cars. Anyone looking for him could find him under a car with grease covered hands and a story to tell.
He will be missed dearly, and a celebration of life is to be announced at a later time.
