George M. Dzubara
George M. Dzubara, 51, of Uniontown, went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2010. He was born in Akron on December 25, 1958. George attended St. Matthew School and graduated from both Archbishop Hoban High School and Hocking Technical College. George was a certified auto mechanic for over 30 years. In his free time, George enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Above all, he was a loving husband and devoted father and will be missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by his father, George M. Dzubara, Sr., George is survived by his wife of 20 years, Laura; daughters, Kaitlyn and Taylor Dzubara; mother, Mary Jacqueline Dzubara; siblings, Lucy Anne (Shawn) O'Neil, Julie Horinger, Mary Helen (Richard) Zak, Joseph (Susan) Dzubara, and Jane (Steve) Burt; in-laws, Ann and Steve Beney; sister-in-law, Stephanie Beney; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Family and friends may call on Friday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 9:15 a.m., followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2603 Benton St., Akron.
