Genevieve V. Wilson
Genevieve V. Wilson, 92, departed this world on May 6, 2015 following a brief illness. She was born October 28, 1922 in Clarksburg, W.V. to the late Joseph Mano and Theresa Mancino. She moved to Akron in 1951 and worked for the Lawson stores and former Hillhaven Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth H. Wilson; six brothers; and three sisters. She is survived by her son, Kenneth David Wilson of Akron, daughter, Barbara Burger of Pickerington, OH; three grandchildren, Julie, Michael, and Richelle; four great-grandchildren, Bryce, Jacob, Kayli, and Cyler; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday May 11, 2015 from 10-12pm with the funeral service starting at 12pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Interment Hillside Memorial Park.
