Geneva J. Fubara

The Gerring, Rouhlac and Gillespie families announce with deep regret the passing of our mother, grandmother, sister and cousin Mrs.Geneva Jilliane Fubara, affectionately known as Mama, GranMa, Mama G., Mama Geneva, Sister Geneva, Aunty G, Fubara. She went home peacefully to be with her Lord on August 22, 2016 at 11:35 AM at the home of her loving children, Glenn and Albertha Kamah Gillespie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Gerring and Bennetta Gerring-Freeman; her husband, Ishmael Alanega Fubara; brothers, James and Joseph Gerring; and sister, Elizabeth Jackson. She is survived by her only child, Albertha Kamah (Glenn) Gillespie; foster daughter, Musu (Xcingo) Togba, and step-son, Bapakaye Fubara (Garmai); sisters, Louise Washington, Ellen Fatu Gerring (Solomon) Varfley, Abeke Joy Jackson; brothers, Samuel Gerring Jr. and Arthur O. (Rose) Gerring; grandchildren, Kamalenn Gillespie and Marcus Gillespie; special niece, Karina Kemah Varfley-Wilson, and a hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
