Gene F. Weisgarber
Gene F. Weisgarber, 80, went to be with God on October 14, 2012 after a lengthy illness. Gene was a native of the Navarre and Massillon area. He retired from Republic Steel Corp. in 1985 after over 30 years of service.
He is survived by his children, David (Mary) Weisgarber of Rootstown, Victor (Rita) Weisgarber of Texas, Jeff (Jeanette) Weisgarber of Beach City, B. Lynn (Jim) Covert of Brimfield, Connie (John) Thomas of Barberton; brother, Glenn Weisgarber of Massillon; 9 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Lola Weisgarber; first wife, Joanne Berens; second wife, Donna Weisgarber; stepdaughter, Viola Fick; sisters, Dorothy Wuske and Marie Schneider.
Private interment will take place at Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre.
