Gary P. Holcomb, 52, went to be with the Lord on August 31, 2014.
He was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. He loved camping at Countryside Campground, riding his golf cart, and sitting by the campfire with his friends. Gary loved talking with his Aunt Cora in West Virginia.
Preceded in death by his father, Gay Holcomb. Survivors include his wife, Cathy, of 7 years; mother, Donna; children, Gary L. (Marsha), Clifford (Katie), and Andrew; grandchildren, Libby, Levi, and Lucy; brothers, Marty (Cathy), Kevin (Jill), Patrick (Jim); sisters, Gail (Kevin), Amy (Michael), and Wendy; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Saturday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a memorial service to follow at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
