Gary was known for his warmth and generosity. He delighted in spending time with his family and friends, particularly during long breakfasts where laughter and heartfelt conversation flowed freely. His love for family was evident in everything he did, especially in his hobbies, which included playing around of golf, computer games, indulging in bingo, and showcasing his artistic side through woodwork and creating family CD collages. He found joy in building birdhouses and cherished every opportunity to create lasting memories with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his son, Steven (Joanne Hamrick) Hamrick, Stepson, Eric Melton (Terri), daughters, Jana Hamrick, Cynthia Hamrick and stepdaughter Becky Iuliano (Gary); brother, Terry (Rita Hamrick) Hamrick; and eleven cherished grandchildren.

Gary's heart held a deep affection for those he lost along the way. Although he has left this earthly realm, Gary's legacy will continue through his family. He took immense pride in watching them grow, finding fulfillment in their triumphs and joys.
