Gary D. Trent, 71, of Hartville, passed from this life to his glorious promotion on August 6, 2012. He was born in Akron on February 14, 1941 to the late Charles and Arlene Trent.
Gary retired as a truck driver with Clinton Petroleum. He was an avid hunter and loved his "dog ladylou".
Gary was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sharon; brother, Kevin. He is survived by his children, Tracye, Tim (Tina) and Kellye Trent; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Connie (Jerry) Whitis, Brenda Trent, Linda Miller, Kim Trent; niece, Errin; 6 other nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, August 9, from 7-9 PM and Friday, August 10 from 10-11 AM NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will follow at 11 AM with Pastor Demetri Mittas and Pastor O.L. Henderson officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
