Gary A. Becker

Gary A. Becker, 68, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Florida on May 18, 2017. He was born in Painesville, OH on February 17, 1949 and lived most of his life in Akron. Gary proudly served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his sisters, Jeanne Carter, Bonnie Davies, Beverly Miraglia, and Becky Ralff; and grandson, Scott Becker. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Becker; mother, Betty Freed; brother, James Bonner; son, Todd Becker; and daughter, Tammy Becker.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 12-2 followed by a 2:00 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gary's family.
