Franklin D. Payk, 79, of Springfield Twp., passed away November 16, 2012. He was born in Crab Orchard, KY on August 20, 1933 to the late Emil and Cleo Payk.
Frank worked for General Tire as a tire builder for over 25 years and retired from Lakemore Village after many years of service. Frank was a member of the Army Navy Garrison 273 and became a Past National Commander.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Vivian. Frank is survived by his wife, Betty, of 56 years; son, John; sisters, Barbara Perry and Jeanene Payk; best hunting buddy, John Baker; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Crossroads Bible Fellowship, 737 George Washington Blvd., Akron, OH with Pastor Russ Heiser officiating.
