Frank Homan, Jr., 80, passed away on April 24, 2013, surrounded by his family by his side. Born in Akron to Sue and Frank Homan, Sr. He was a member of St. Matthew Parish and served in the US Marines during the Korean Conflict. He was a hard and dedicated worker who was always lending a helping hand in any way that he could.
A loving husband, he leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Dolores; sons, Frank (Patty), Michael, and Steven (Marsha); grandchildren, Michael (Amber) Homan, Jennifer (Eric) Lindgren, Steven Jr., "Buddy Boy" Sean, Nathan, Matthew, and precious Cheyenne Homan; great-grandchildren, Paris and Brynlee Lindgren, Landon and Aubrey Homan; and sister, Betty (Richard) Dieringer.
The family would also like to extend a special thank you to all the support from Hospice of Visiting Nurse, especially his aide, Chris, and his nurse, Patty. He will be sadly missed by all.
Cremation has taken place. His family will have a gathering in his remembrance at Frank and Patty's home on Saturday, April 27, at 3 p.m., for anyone who would like to attend.
