Frank H. Martin, Iii

Frank H. Martin III, 65, of Akron, passed away in his home on Saturday, November 3, 2012. He was born in Beckley, WV on July 5, 1947 to the late Frank and Martha Martin.

Frank was a hard worker his entire life. He was a great husband, father and provider. He was a humble man who lived by the saying, "God grant me the serenity to accept those things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference".

He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Betty Hahe.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Patricia; children, Tamara (Ken) Lowers, Frank (Kim), Robin (Mike), Christa (Vince) Miller; grandchildren, Sean, Bryant, Heather, Justin, Meagan, Adam, Tabitha and Halie; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Dixie (John) Crane; numerous in-laws. A special thank you to all at Hospice of Summa.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, November 6, from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 7 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Ehlers officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
