Frank E. Cvelbar

Frank E. Cvelbar, age 74, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026, in Hubbard, Ohio. He was born on October 21, 1951, in Sharon, Pennsylvania.

Frank will be remembered as a hardworking man whose life reflected dedication and steady commitment. He worked for many years as a steel worker and also had a background in retail sales. Through his work, he carried himself with the kind of perseverance and dependability that left a lasting impression on those who knew him.

Outside of work, Frank found enjoyment in simple pleasures that brought him comfort and happiness. He liked spending his free time bowling, and he especially enjoyed watching classic westerns. Bonanza, Gunsmoke, and Lonesome Dove were among his favorites, and these familiar stories were a pastime he treasured. In recent years, he was also a member of the Chestnut Ridge Church of God in Hubbard, Ohio, where he had been attending for the past couple of years.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Sophie Cvelbar and Ed Cvelbar.

He is survived by his cousins, Karmelita Drake and Jerry Drake; Johnny and Wally Karmelita; Patt Roth; and Steve Sop Jr. May their memories of Frank bring comfort and peace in the days ahead.

Frank’s life was marked by honest work, familiar routines, and the quiet joys he held dear. He will be remembered with affection by those who knew him, and his memory will remain with his family and friends.
