Foster C. Stump

Foster C. Stump, 89, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2016. Foster was born on September 6, 1926 in Braxton County, West Virginia to Jimmy and Georgia Stump. He was a kind, generous, loving man who put others needs before his own and never met a stranger. Foster enjoyed hunting, gardening, bee keeping, and spending time with his family and friends.

Foster is preceded in death by wife Anna Stump; siblings, Shurley Stump, Marie Hines, and Cecil Stump.

He is survived by his children, Kathy (Dan) Roberts, Garry Stump, Patricia Cooper, Debra (Steve) Kamuda; grandchildren, Jared and Andrew (Jennel) Roberts, James (Laura) Cooper, Braxton and Joseph Kamuda; great granddaughter, Violet Cooper; siblings, Della Estep, Betty Kent and many friends who will miss Foster dearly.

Family will receive friends on Monday, May 9, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, Ohio 44305, with the Funeral Service immediately following. Interment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Donations may be made to the Cancer Society in Foster's honor.
