Evelyn Irene James, 87, went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2015.
She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Big Prairie and enjoyed playing Scrabble and traveling.
Survivors include daughter, Barbara (Shawn) Cabbell; grandson, Jayvyn; son, John Baker; grandson, Mark; daughter, Florence Kutscher; grandchildren, Michael, Cassie, and Ryan; and sister, Dolores White. A memorial service will be held Saturday, 3 p.m., at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 12746 County Rd. 330, Big Prairie, OH 44611, with Pastor Rob Martin officiating.
