Eva M. Hawkins

December 30, 1929 — April 21, 2016

Eva Marie Hawkins passed away peacefully in her home the morning of April 21, 2016. She was 86. She was a graduate of East High School and Akron General School of Nursing. She had a long career as a surgical nurse at Akron General Medical Center. After her retirement she enjoyed quilting, traveling, shopping and visiting with family and friends including Julia Grissom and Carol Freeland.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, James Hawkins. Eva had five children, Paul ( Lisa ), Tom, Nancy, Susan ( Mark ) & Jeff ( Debora ). She had ten grand children and eleven great grand children. She is survived by her three brothers, Carl, Al & Larry Peaslee. She will be missed by all. She was a member of Wedgewood United Methodist Church in Ellet.

The Family would like to Thank Eva's many friends who provided assistance and love to their MOM.

There will be calling hours at the church on Saturday, April 23, from 10:00 AM till 11:30 AM. A short service will follow.
