Eunice A. Ward, 89, of Akron, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2013 following prolonged illness. She was born on March 18, 1924 in Akron. Eunice enjoyed crocheting blankets and rugs. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Ward and daughter Donna (Mike) Walsh.
Eunice is survived by sons; James (Pat) McHenry, Sr, Gordon (Kim) Ward and Gerald Ward, grandchildren Michael and Bryan Walsh, other relatives, friends and her favorite pets Snowball and Junebug. Friends may call 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the funeral home.
