Erin Patricia Geoghegan
Erin Patricia Geoghegan, 34, of Tallmadge, passed away on March 13, 2015. She was born in Sydney, Australia on August 5, 1980. Erin graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Akron in 2013 with a B.S. in Food and Environmental Nutrition. In her free time, she was an avid reader and a gifted creative writer. She will always be remembered for her quick sense of humor and her kind, generous heart.
Erin was preceded in death by her uncle, Tom Goodall and grandfather, Patrick Goodall. She will be deeply missed by her husband, David King; parents, Eileen and John Ropar; sisters, Abby Geoghegan and Clare (Patrick) Hughes; grandparents, Patricia Goodall, John and Shirley Ropar; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc, 8894 State Route 14, Streetsboro, OH 44241.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Support Services, ATTN: Development, 150 Cross St, Akron, OH 44311.
