Eric Sean Stoakes, age 43, of Barberton (formerly Coventry Twp.), died unexpectedly in his home on May 4, 2019. He was born on March 3, 1976, the youngest son of David L. Stoakes and Donna K. Haught.
Eric was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents; step-father, David E. Haught; step-sister, Dee Ann Fry; and step-brother, Jeff Haught. He is survived by his mother, Donna Haught (Lloyd Gibbs); brothers, Ryan Stoakes, Dave Stoakes, Todd Stoakes; step-brother, Chris Haught; nephews; Ryan Stoakes II (Nicole Lyn), Jesse Fry; nieces, Haley (Jess) Gissinger, Samantha Stoakes; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends all over the United States and even Brazil.
A "Celebration of Life" will be at the Army & Navy Union Garrison #250, 2970 N. Bender Rd., Akron, OH 44319 on July 14, 2019 from 2pm-7pm. We will have the downstairs & picnic area. Please park down back, in the gravel parking lot.
