Eric James Thayer, 28, of Akron, passed away suddenly on October 26, 2014. He was born in Mesa, Arizona on January 2, 1986. Eric was a proud father to his young daughters and a proud soldier. He recently graduated from boot camp with the Army Reserves and was employed as an assistant manager with Monro Muffler. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruth Hogue and grandparents, Bernard and Donna Thayer.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Amanda; daughters, Ava Thayer and Reene Booth; stepdaughter, Alyssa Leventhal; parents, Bernard (Lisa) Thayer and Ruth Murphey (Arthur Prentice); stepsisters, Jennifer (Wayne) Winchell, Nicole Clark, and Rita (Tom) Reiss; uncle, John Thayer; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N.
