Ena I. Swain

Ena I. Swain, age 102, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025 at Altercare Post Acute Rehabilitation Center. She was born in England on April 16, 1923 to George and Emma Wright.

Ena is survived by her loving children, Roy (Diane) Withrow and Carol Ann (Daniel) McCann; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; special friend, Kathy Williams; as well as other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Swain; sons, George "Vic" Wright and David Withrow; as well as a brother and two sisters.

Ena loved her family deeply and it showed through the years as she spent her time caring for those around her.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305) on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 5pm until 6pm. Her Memorial Service will begin at 6pm. She will then be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville, OH 44273) at a later date.
